I’m Rosa McTaggart. I’ve been an architect for over 15 years, but I’ve been cooking since I was a child. In Venezuela, I remember passing the bakery shops common all through the city, asking for one of the treats on display, the creamier the better. My mother, a doctor, thought she could deter me by saying to make a cake rather than to buy one of the treats at the bakery. Little did she know that would spark my passion for baking.

 

These days, I bake for special occasions like anniversaries and my two little girls' special days. Those days are not enough anymore for something I genuinely enjoy and, dare I say, relaxing. I want to bake for other people. Develop scrumptious recipes that everyone can enjoy.

 

I strive to use quality, feel good ingredients, that satisfy the soul. There are no box cakes in my kitchen, just honest ingredients, and seasonal fruits to make treats.
